Oversee procurement of asparagus in Mexico, including negotiation of contracts, and distribution, logistics and warehouse functions of growers; develop strong relationships with growers; ensure that asparagus is effectively distributed to U.S. warehouse. Bachelor’s degree in Global Affairs and Management or Supply Chain Management required. 2 years experience required in job offered or as Economic Affairs Analyst or International Trade Compliance Officer or Operations Assistant or Operations Assistant Supervisor or Sales Logistics Coordinator or any combination thereof. Must have 15 months experience (may be gained concurrently with the above experience) in the following: 1) Promoting bilateral trade and investment between Mexico and U.S.; 2) procuring fresh asparagus from Mexico for U.S.; 3) preparing shipping documents; and 4) overseeing distribution, logistics and warehouse functions of asparagus growers.
